To both celebrate and recognise their fundamental role in family and society, UnitingCare Burnside’s Men In Family Relationships program hosted the fourth annual Dads for Kids Festival on Sunday 17 March. The activities organised as part of this year’s Dad for Kids festival promise to be popular amongst dads and kids alike. Not only was there live band, story corner, jumping castle, face painting, tug-of-war and sporting activities, there was education and lifestyle displays to encourage learning, teach useful parenting and other life skills and develop interests together. Retired rugby league legend and dad, Wayne Pearce will also make a guest appearance.
We were extremely lucky to have Wayne Pearce assist us in doing a live display.
